Wow. This app LAGGED so badly and had the least intuitive layout ever. Upon first launching the app, I was met by an, "add contact" screen that I had to back out of... Just an awful app that left me feeling robbed... Developer - Please contact me. Something has gone wrong...

This should have been part of the native contacts ap. On the native ap there is NO way to move contacts from one group to another. Having 2500 contacts and changing groups from time to time I need an efficient way to edit and move contacts. Many thanks for "Speed"

Ive used Speed Names for years now. Its simply the easiest and fasted way to enter a new contact. Thanks!!

This is the only program that I could find so far that will let you copy your ipad/iphone contacts into exchange. Obviously you still need to get a program to erase the duplicates (which will also cost you $.99) but at least you can have all of your contacts in exchange if you want to

Just what I was looking for! Had a BlackBerry before that you could separate phone numbers by groups was surprised the iPhone couldnt handle such a simple task on its own without having the support of an app. This app definitely fills the gap

Wish I could share contact lists via email with a touch of a few buttons. I wanted a separate app for contact because I wanted my personal contacts separate from my work contacts.

For some reason, Apple has not developed the capability for their iPad mail app to send e-mails to groups. This app takes care of that shortfall, however developers need to make one more improvement - the ability to hide the recipients e-mail addresses and just show the group name in the "To" line.

So sad: I just lost about 90 contacts with this app--I asked it to copy them to another source and for some reason it deleted them. Theyre nowhere to be found. Really bummed.

Great in concept but the app does not open up, even after restarting my phone. Should be renamed find another app to enter your contact.

In response to a recent review by “savethefrogs:” This is a simple case of “user error.” The app when first launched asks the user if the app can have access to your Contacts list. If you say no, then all bets are off. Why would you purchase an app that access your contacts but then disallow the app access to your contacts? It is unfortunate the user did not contact us but rather choose to be mean spirited and post this bad review. While the built in contact manager has gotten better over time, it still has significant limitations. Speed Names is a much faster way to enter contact information than the built-in contact app, but its greatest strength allows you to create groups and organize your contacts into groups, and to easily delete multiple contacts when the need arises. With iOS 8 Apple still hasnt provided the group and bulk contact management of Speed Names. This developer was one of the first to release iPhone apps in 2007, and has consistently maintained and improved them. Also check out his other apps, particularly Travel Tracker.

Amended review: the app is too slow, cant use effectively with a lot of contacts. Going between screens, looking up contacts just too slow iPhone 5s I just purchased the app for the sole purpose of sorting contacts by business. Yes it does that fine but when you search for a business it is sooo slow. I have 2400+ contacts that sort just fine in ios contacts. When you search in "speed names". You can type one letter then it searches and locks the keyboard then you can type another and so on. You cant just type the name you want or the first couple of letters for that matter. It gets bogged down searching for the letter S before it lets you type another letter. Allow the user to type in the name then push a magnifying glass or something. I hope it can be fixed.

I would like a refund. App does not work and certainly is not user friendly. I feel ripped off. Too bad because I need an app like this that works. Save your money!

Ive been using this app for a couple of years and it does what it says it does. Really handy if you have several groups that youre dealing with. Good Job!

I wanted a program to move contacts between my outlook phone book and my google contacts. This program does not even recognize the Google contacts, even though everything else on my iPhone does. I am accessing Google contacts thru the native apple contacts app currently. Waste of $$$

This app does not acknowledge contacts linked to gmail. My entire goal was to move my contacts linked to an Exchange email to my Gmail, but I cant do that will this app. Not too happy that I paid for it.
